The Old Church Maleny

We had a great stay at the Old Church! The room was super clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The modern and industrial bathroom was a unique touch, and the hot water in the shower was a welcome treat. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the main shopping street, and parking was convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed, although it could have been a bit more cozy. Despite a minor inconvenience of carrying our suitcases down a flight of stairs, everything else was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable experience.

New-fashioned and spotless room with a comfortable bed, had everything what we needed. Location was handy, close to Maleny Laundrette. Food for breakfast was great.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and had a unique and tasteful design. I loved the abundance of pot plants throughout the space, giving it a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom and laundry were spacious. It was a nice surprise to find fresh fruit and a variety of tea options provided. The location was excellent, with shops, cafes, and parks within walking distance.

There was some noise due to ongoing renovations in another unit, but it seemed like it would be completed soon. The parking spot was not available due to garden jobs, so we had to park further down the street.

We had a fantastic stay at this converted church in an excellent position. The hotel was conveniently located to all shops on Main Street, making it easy for us to explore the local cafes and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and we were impressed with the modern and industrial design of the bathroom. The hotel facilities were great, with a lovely balcony offering a fine view. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, especially the gentleman who assisted us with our luggage.

Inviting place, caring hosts, excellent location for shops, cafes, and parks. Clean and well-equipped room. Interesting property design, feels brand new yet cozy. Privacy with separate TVs. Lovely outdoor deck and winter sun. Very helpful and always available staff. Milk, juice, and fruit provided, cozy atmosphere with fireplace. Good parking and convenient location.

Fireplace for chilly winter nights: I felt like I was in a cozy cabin, snuggled up by the fireplace, as I enjoyed the warmth and crackling sounds. It added a touch of magic to my stay, making it truly unforgettable.

Limited soundproofing.

The rooms at The Old Church Maleny were absolutely amazing! They were cozy and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and air conditioning. It was like our own little oasis after a long day of exploring.

Personally, we would have preferred a separate bedroom with a queen bed instead of a walk-in robe. But hey, that's just our personal preference.

Loved the quirky apartment with its amazing fireplace. The high ceilings and stained glass windows added a touch of grandeur. The private entrance and verandah were perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Free wifi and parking were a bonus.

Oh, how I missed opening windows and breathing in the scent of fresh air. Such a shame.

Great location, easy walk to the town center and restaurants

Felt very secure, nothing too much trouble

We stayed in a quirky little place in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. the room was nicely decorated with a comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. We loved the full length balcony where we could enjoy our morning tea. the hosts were very accommodating and the parking available was a plus. It was a quiet location despite being close to the town centre.

One issue we had was that the steps to the bathroom and kitchen area were uneven and dark, making it dangerous to navigate, especially at night. It would be great if they could make the steps more visible and safe.
